In tonight’s FBI International episode, there were two explosions at a music festival. Special Agent Carmen Vo was there with her boyfriend and she couldn’t stay because she had to work. Her partner Raines was picking her up from the site when they felt the first explosion. The first one was small. They didn’t know what it was when they began running to the explosion site and that’s when the second one went off. The second one was bigger. It knocked the agents off their feet. They came to later on and Vo’s first concern was her boyfriend. Vo went looking for her boyfriend. He was studying to be a musician tech. He was excited about the event and so Vo knew he was near the explosion site. She later found him with shrapnel in his leg. And so she used a scarf to tie off the wound as she tried to get him an ambulance.

The music festival was big. There were Americans in attendance and about five of them died. The terrorist attack also happened in Budapest which was the home for the International unit of the FBI. The FBI was called in to help with the investigation. Forrester told his team that if they wanted to sit out that they could and they all wanted to work. Even Vo. She wanted to find out who did this. They began the investigation by looking into Bartalan Agostan. Agostan was the American dream. He was a child of Hungarian immigrants who moved to the United States for a better life and he became a successful millionaire. He also believed in helping Hungary. His company financed the festival and he was one of the victims.

Agostan was a successful man. He could have developed enemies. His company Trumantis recently pulled out of a contract with a woman who was supposed to attend the event and this woman also ordered a lot of ammonium nitrate. Forrester and Jamie questioned the suspect. She denied any part in the bombings. She also said she was there. She had to leave early because of a work commitment. They asked her about the ammonium nitrate and she said that her company grows produce. Which it does. She even added that the company she ordered the ammonium nitrate from has been short-changing her. There was enough missing chemicals to create two more bombs. And so someone from the ammonium nitrate company has been stealing the chemicals.

The team looked into Buda Petro Chemical. There was one employment in charge of the shipments and it was Elek Simko. He was the delivery man. The ammonium nitrate disappeared along his route and so Simko’s home was later raided. They found it empty. There were drugs found. But enough evidence to indicate he was their terrorist. The only thing the apartment lacked was the man himself and he became wanted. Simko lost his job because of Trumantis. He looked for work and he couldn’t find it. His wife left him. She took the kids and she got full custody. Simko lost everything because of Agostan and that’s why he killed him but it didn’t explain why he took enough chemicals to create more bombs and so the FBI had a word with his ex-wife.

She didn’t want to say anything at first. She still thought he was a good man. She only left him because after he lost his job he lost his way and nothing she did helped. She wasn’t worried about him working. She got a job herself and they were good when she noticed the changes in his character. He started to go to rallies. He began scaring his wife. She left with the kids because she didn’t like where he was going and unfortunately her leaving had just meant he was both cut off and alone while being angry. Simko’s rallies were for Hungarian patriotism. They wanted to destroy the imperialism that crept into the country after the Berlin Wall fell and communism went away. And so Simko’s second bombing site at was at the company endorsing automation at Buda Petro Chemical.

A few people died again. The supposedly patriotic group he was a part of was hyping this bombing as a sign against imperialism and so Forrester and his team spoke with the man leading the movement. They knew he was in contact with Simko. They just couldn’t prove it but something he said about the Americans being the aggresors in the first place had rang a bell for Forrester. He realized where the next bombing would be. It would be at Buda Petro Chemical. If Simko blew up their ammonium nitrate supply then it would wipe out blocks for miles and so Forrester and his team jammed the cell tower in the area. This prevented Simko from setting off the next bomb. He then tried to run and they captured. And Simko wasn’t apologetic in the slightest as he was being arrested.

Vo thought his message about getting the Americans out would spread on the news now, but Forrester said he knew a man who had been at the at the terrorist attack in Oklahoma and that this man said people never remembered the terrorist. Just the fallen.

Simko was in jail and the man who inspired him was also arrested for funding a terrorist attack.

THE END!
